KolDor Tomorrow’s Leaders Today
KolDor is launching an exciting initiative, and is now recruiting
for its first Tomorrow's Leaders Today professional development
program. This new and highly selective 6 month program, based in
Israel, is designed for exceptional individuals who are interested
in developing a career in the Jewish world. One successful
candidate will be recruited for 2009, and the program will build on
an annual basis.
KolDor is a unique not-for-profit network dedicated to
strengthening global Jewish Peoplehood through action, networking,
ideas and next generation leadership. KolDor has partnerships and
works with organizations across the Jewish world including World
Jewish Congress, Jewish Agency for Israel, World Zionist
Organization, PresenTense, Beth Hatefutsoth, among others, and is
supported by institutions, foundations, and private individuals

The Tomorrow’s Leaders program will involve:
A 6 month program with a blend of volunteering and professional
work immersing the apprentice in KolDor activities:
- Professional development through responsibilities given in the
areas of programming and logistics together with tailored personal
and professional development
- Access to leading events and institutions in the Jewish world
Phase 1 – Duration 3 months (August 1- November 1):
- You will meet once per week with the Executive Director of KolDor
who will be responsible for your performance, guidance and training
within the network itself
-You will receive a personal mentor from the KolDor network, who
will support you in your role, your professional development, share
experiences and network, and help prepare you for future work
within the Jewish world
- You will be able to join some of the top level forums and events
in the Jewish Leadership world
-You will develop an extensive network, and gain inside access to
the Jewish organizational world, with the opportunity to meet
professionals from many organizations, from new innovative and
grass roots organizations through to the large institutions that
have an impressive heritage
Phase 2 – Duration 3 months (November 1 –February 1):
Following the success of the initial training, and delivery of your
responsibilities and projects, you will be offered a full-time
position in the KolDor network, in which you will gain critical
hands-on experience in taking a leadership role in a leading global
Jewish network.
- Upon completion of this program, KolDor will assist you in the
next stage of your career endeavors through maximizing the KolDor
network and your newly formed connections.

The requirements:
- During Phase 1, you will be expected to put a minimum of five
hours per week of regular volunteer work towards programming and
various administrative tasks of KolDor
- Successfully deliver the responsibilities and projects you are
given by the Executive Director of KolDor on time and within
budget
- Take an active interest in KolDor and be an ambassador for the
organization - Own your professional development plan
- Commitment to completion of both phases of the program
